Low-voltage BMS host tool Supports parameter configuration, historical data reading, firmware upgrade, and real-time status monitoring
For learning reference only

These host tools were developed by a BMS Test Engineer. The previous tools built by former colleagues were pretty bad (unstable CAN connection, high CPU usage, high memory consumption, frequent crashes), causing inaccurate or lost data, making proper testing impossible. That's why I was determined to build a truly awesome host tool. After six months of self-study, I started development. All these tools were completed in 2025. Back then, learning resources were limited, so looking at the code now, it's still spaghetti code. I now have better software architecture knowledge and can write higher-quality code, but after two years of work, my energy has gradually been drained. On top of that, time is limited — I need more time for myself, because besides host tool development, I have other hobbies too...
Also, as a tester, I have every right to judge whether a host tool is up to standard, because testers spend most of their time working with these tools. So I know exactly what it takes for software to be genuinely usable. As for professional host tool developers, I admit your technical skills are solid, but an excellent host tool isn't just about how brilliant the developer is — it's about being simple, easy to use, and lag-free. That's the real standard in the industrial control world!
